Event rating
Every comparable performance receives an event rating. It measures what the dog achieved in that competition.

Canine Rating 1.0Why does field strength matter?
A strong result against a large, competitive field is more informative than the same placing in a very small field. The adjustment is deliberately limited so the sport result remains most important.
What happens when a dog changes class?
The dog keeps its Weight Pull or discipline rating. Its class rank moves to the class from its latest rated competition.
When does a dog become inactive?
A dog without a rated result for twelve months is removed from the current ranking. Its rating history remains on the dog profile.
Is Canine Rating 1.0 used elsewhere?
No. Canine Rating 1.0 was created for Canine Scorebook and applies only on this website. It helps describe current form and does not replace official results, titles or competition rules.
