Canine Scorebook Is Open to New Sports, Clubs and Organizations

Canine Scorebook is not built for just one specific dog sport. Our goal is to create a modern, flexible platform that can support many different dog sports, clubs and organizations, while still allowing each sport to keep its own rules, result formats, disciplines and identity.

We are now looking to connect with new sports, organizations and clubs that need a better way to manage results, competitions, statistics, registrations and members.

Canine Scorebook is completely free for clubs, organizations and competitors to use.

We adapt Canine Scorebook to the sport

Different dog sports work in very different ways.

Some compete on time. Others on height, distance, weight, points, repetitions or placements. Some sports have weight classes, age classes, levels, titles, qualifications or completely unique scoring systems.

That is why we do not want every sport to be forced into the same template.

When a new sport joins Canine Scorebook, we can adapt the platform to the way that sport actually works.

This can include:

Custom disciplines and competition classes
Custom result fields
Custom scoring systems
Records and personal bests
Titles and qualifications
Rankings and rating systems
Sport-specific statistics
Custom filters and search functions
Result pages that only show the relevant sport

The idea is simple: Canine Scorebook provides the technical platform in the background, while the sport itself decides how competitions and results should work.

Canine Scorebook adapts to the sport — the sport should not have to adapt to Canine Scorebook.

Clubs can publish their own results

Clubs and organizers do not need to send results to us and wait for us to enter them manually.

We can set up the system so clubs can publish their own results directly into Canine Scorebook.

For smaller competitions, results can be entered manually directly on the website.

For larger competitions, clubs can upload a CSV file. A CSV file can easily be created from Excel, Google Sheets or other spreadsheet software.

If your organization already uses a spreadsheet or competition sheet today, we can often adapt the import system so that Canine Scorebook can read the format you already use.

This means organizers can continue working in a familiar way, while the results are also stored permanently in a structured result database.

Show your results directly on your own website

Canine Scorebook can create dedicated result pages that can be displayed directly on your organization’s existing website.

This is done using something called an iframe.

An iframe may sound technical, but the idea is very simple.

Think of an iframe as a window inside your website.

The result system itself is hosted by Canine Scorebook, but through this window your visitors can see the results directly on your own website.

They do not need to leave your page and visit Canine Scorebook separately.

For example, if your organization runs one specific sport, we can create a dedicated page where only your sport, organization, events and results are shown.

That page can then be placed directly inside your own website.

For the visitor, it feels like a natural part of your website, while Canine Scorebook handles the database, results and technical system in the background.

When we later improve result tables, statistics, rankings or other features, those improvements can also become available without your club needing to rebuild its website.

More than just results

Canine Scorebook can be developed to handle much more than competition results.

For clubs and organizations, we can create and adapt systems for events, registrations, members, users, dogs and statistics.

Events and competitions can include upcoming competitions, event days, arenas, schedules and event information.

Event registration can allow participants to register dogs and enter competitions directly through the system.

Member tools can help clubs and organizations manage members and membership information.

User profiles can give competitors their own accounts where they can follow their dogs, results, competitions and personal statistics.

Dog profiles can contain basic information, competition history, personal records, titles, rankings and statistics.

A dog competing over several years can therefore have its entire sporting career collected in one place.

We can import old results

Many dog sports already have years of competition history stored in Excel files, spreadsheets, PDFs, old websites or other documents.

That history should not disappear.

Canine Scorebook can help organizations import older competitions and historical results into the database.

Once those results have been added, we can start building much more around the history of the sport.

This can include:

Historical records
Development of the sport over time
Top-performing dogs
Most active dogs
Results by breed
Results by country or club
Competition history
Personal bests
Rankings
Sport-specific statistics

A collection of old result files can therefore become a searchable and living part of the sport’s history.

Better statistics as the database grows

When competitions and results are stored in a structured database, Canine Scorebook can do much more than simply show who won a competition.

We can build statistics around what is actually relevant to each individual sport.

This could include average results, records, progress over time, number of starts, number of competing dogs, breeds, clubs, countries, active competitors and many other forms of statistics.

If a sport has its own scoring, ranking or qualification system, that can also be built into the platform.

One platform — each sport keeps its own identity

It is important to us that an organization using Canine Scorebook should not feel like it is simply a small section of somebody else’s website.

We can create dedicated views for individual sports and organizations.

A sport can have its own:

Results portal
Event overview
Statistics
Records
Dog database
Rankings
Registration system
Profile pages

All of this can still run on the same technical platform in the background.

This allows us to develop new features and make them available across different sports, while still adapting how those features work for each individual organization.

For small clubs and large organizations

A small club may only need a simple place to publish competitions and results.

A larger organization may want a complete system with a dog database, members, event registration, statistics, rankings and historical results.

Both are possible.

We can start with something simple and expand the system as the sport grows.

You also do not need to replace your existing website.

Canine Scorebook can work together with the website your organization already uses.

Why is it free?

The goal of Canine Scorebook is to make dog sport more accessible, better organized and better documented.

Far too much sporting history is currently scattered across Facebook posts, Excel files, old websites and documents that eventually disappear.

We want to make competitions easier to manage, but we also want to make sure that results still exist five, ten or twenty years from now.

At the same time, we want to create better statistics and make it easier to follow the development of dogs, handlers, clubs and the sports themselves.

That is why Canine Scorebook is free for clubs, organizations and competitors to use.

Do you run a dog sport? Get in touch

We are especially interested in hearing from organizations and clubs that have a result, competition or administration problem they would like to solve.

It does not matter whether the sport is large or small.

It does not matter whether you already have a system today.

Maybe you simply need a better way to publish results.

Maybe you want to digitize 15 years of old competitions.

Maybe you need event registration.

Maybe you want better statistics and dog profiles.

Or maybe you want to build a complete digital platform around your sport.

We can look at how your sport works today and build the solution around your needs.

Your sport. Your rules. Your results. Canine Scorebook provides the platform behind it.

If you represent a club, organization or dog sport that could benefit from Canine Scorebook, we would be happy to hear from you.

Let’s build the future of dog sport results, statistics and competition management together.
