Step 1: GDPR Consent
We, Rebel Sporting Data AS, store only the information we need to give you a working account and to show correct dog-sport results. When you sign up we ask for your first name, last name, e-mail, country, a username and a password (the password is saved as a secure hash, never in clear text). By default your name, e-mail and phone are private and never shown to others unless you turn on the “public” switch in your profile. We also keep a record that links you to the dogs you say you own; each dog’s name, breed, sex, birth-date and competition results are public because that is the purpose of the site, but a dog’s chip number is shared only with event organisers to be sure the right dog is entered. We log the time, IP address and browser when you visit so the admins can spot abuse and keep the site secure; those logs are kept for up to twelve months and then deleted. Back-ups are made every night and stored encrypted. We never sell or give your personal data to third parties. You are always in control: at any time you can open your profile and see what we store, change it, hide it or delete your account entirely; you can also e-mail us at support@caninescorebook.com and we will help you view, correct, move or erase any personal data we hold. If you delete your account we remove your contact details but we keep the public competition history of your dogs because that information is part of the permanent sports archive.
